Find the measure of angle K.(I put 60 because it's an acute angle. I don't know if i'm correct though.)

If you could can you explain how you got the answer, so I understand it? Please and thank you!

Answer: Yep.  I see what's going on here.

-- There had to be instructions that came along with this picture.
Somewhere in those instructions, it said that the top line and
bottom line are parallel ... the ones with the little arrowheads
across them, they're parallel.

-- One factoid about parallel lines is:  When parallel lines are
cut by a transversal, the alternate interior angles are equal.

Both of the sloping lines are transversals that cut the parallel lines.
Look at the longer one.
Angle-m and 46° are the alternate interior angles, so they're equal.

-- Angle-m = 46° .  Now the whole thing falls apart.

-- Look at the triangle standing up on one vertex.
   One angle in the triangle is 92°.
   Another angle in the triangle is 46°  (angle-m) .
   The three angles in the triangle have to add up to 180° .

-- Angle-k is what's left when you start with 180°, take away 92°,
       and then take away another 46° .          I get 42° .

Another way to do it, using another fact about parallel lines:

-- When parallel lines are cut by a transversal, the interior angles
on the same side of the transversal are supplementary.
(I haven't used this rule in 61 years.  I hope they haven't changed it.)

-- Look at the shorter sloping line.
   It's a transversal that cuts the parallel lines.

-- The interior angles on the same side of the transversal
     are the 92° and the big one at the bottom ... the (k + 46°).

-- Those angles are supplementary ... they add up to 180° .

     92° + (k + 46°) = 180°

-- AGAIN ... 'k' is what's left when you start with 180°,
       take away 92°, then take away 46° more.      I get 42° again.

Can you live with this ?

3 to the 10th power = 3 to the 7th power times x to the 3rd power (solve for x)

Answers

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

Rewriting this sentence as an algebraic equation, we get:

3^10 = 3^7 * x^3.

Dividing both sides by 3^7 simplifies the problem:

3^3 = x^3

Here this x corresponds to the 3 in 3^3.  Thus, the solution is x = 3.

Final answer:

Using exponent rules and logarithms, the given equation can be simplified and solved to find that x equals 3.

Explanation:

The subject of the question falls into the field of Mathematics, specifically exponent rules, which are used in High School level algebra. In the mathematics problem provided ('3 to the 10th power = 3 to the 7th power times x to the 3rd power'), we need to solve for x using the knowledge of exponents.

First, it's helpful to know that when two expressions with the same base (in this case, 3) are set equal to each other, their exponents must also be equal. Since we know that 3 to the 7th power times x to the 3rd power equals 3 to the 10th power, we can break this down further. This leads to the equation 7 + 3log(x) = 10, where 'log' represents the logarithm.

By simplifying the equation, we get 3log(x) = 10-7, so 3log(x) = 3. Therefore, log(x)=3/3, hence log(x)=1. If we apply anti logarithm on both sides, we'll find that x = 3 to the power of 1, so x = 3. In other words, 3 to the 3rd power will equal3 to the 10th power divided by 3 to the 7th power. Hence, the value of x is 3.

Answer:

1) x=9

edit:

2) x=25

Step-by-step explanation:

Since all angles added together in any triangles is 180,

we can conclude that

180=(7x-1)+(5x+2)+(7x+8)

solving for x:

180=19x+9

180-9=19x

171=19x

x=9

Edit:

2)since we are given the outside angle we have to find the inside one first before finding the other angles, a straight line is 180 degrees aswell, so 180-(3x-10) would give you the inside angle in terms of x

so adding them all together again should ewual 180:

180=(180-(3x-10))+25+(x+15)

180=180-3x+10+25+x+15

0=-2x+50

2x=50

x=25
