Answers

Answer:

Option \$842.13

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The compound interest formula is equal to

A=P(1+(r)/(n))^(nt)

where

A is the Final Investment Value

P is the Principal amount of money to be invested

r is the rate of interest  in decimal

t is Number of Time Periods

n is the number of times interest is compounded per year

in this problem we have

t=14\ years\n P=\$240\n r=0.09\nn=12

substitute in the formula above

A=\$240(1+(0.09)/(12))^(12*14)=\$842.13

it is 842.13.............................

Please can someone also help me with this. Thanks so much

A).
Area of a rectangle = (length) x (width)

         72 square feet = (9 feet) x (width)

Divide each side of this equation by (9 feet)
and you have:

            (72 square feet) / (9 feet)  =  width .

You can finish this off and find the width.

Once you know both the length and the width,
you're ready to go on to part-B.

B).
The perimeter of a rectangle is the distance all the way around it.
If you start at one corner and walk all the way around it, you'll
have to walk the length 2 times, and the width 2 times.

You know both the length and the width of the class mural,
so you can easily find the perimeter.

What is the area of a circle with a diameter of 10ft? Use 3.14 for pi.

Answers

Answer:

B) 78.5

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the area of a circle is : \pi*radius^(2)

To work this out you would first need to divide the diameter of 10 by 2, which gives you 5. This is because in order to calculate the area you would need to work out the radius. The radius of a circle is half of the diameter.

Then to work out the area you would multiply pi by the radius of 5 squared, this gives you 78.54 square feet.

1) Divide 10 by 2.

10/2=5\n

2) Multiply pi by the radius squared.

\pi*5^(2)=78.54 feet^(2)

Which of the functions have a range of all real numbers? Check all that apply.A. y = sec x
B. y = tan x
C. y = cot x
D. y = csc x

Answers

Answer:

B. y = tan x  and  C. y = cot x

Step-by-step explanation:

Range:

range is defined as the set of values that any given function y=f(x), can take for which the x values are defined. It is the value that y can take for the values of x.

Given:

From the given options

the range of tanx and cotx are all real numbers

as the period of tanx and cotx are π

where as range of secx is all real numbers except π/2 + n*π i.e.

(-∞ , -1] U [1 , + ∞)

And range of cscx is all real numbers except n*π i.e.

(-∞ , -1] U [1 , + ∞)

So from the given option:

option B and C are correct while A and D are not !

Hello!

The answer is:  The correct options are B. Tan(x) and C. Cot(x)

Why?

The range is the output of a function when we evaluate the function with inputs (domain), not all functions have a range of all real numbers, however it's more common to find functions without range or domain restrictions.

Both options B. Tan(x) and C. Cot(x) have a range of all real numbers while the functions Sec(x) and Csc (x) have a restricted range.

Sec(x) and Csc(x):

Domain, all real numbers.

Range, from -1 to 1 or  [-1,1]

Tan(x) and Cot(x):

Domain, all real numbers except (\pi )/(2)+-n\pi

Range, all real numbers.

Hence, the correct options are B. Tan(x) and C. Cot(x)

Okay, I stink at math. But I do know the last one, which is something.

You have to divide the 4 by 4 and then get the x alone, but what is done to one side you have to do to the next so, 10/4 = 2.5

So x ≤ 2.5

I hopes this helps somewhat.
