Which part of the atom is responsible for chemical bonding

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

The part of atom that is responsible for chemical bonding is electrons. The correct option is b.

Atomic chemical bonds are formed by electrons. They are subatomic particles with negative charges that move in distinct energy levels or shells surrounding an atom'snucleus.

Atoms interact with one another during chemicalprocesses to produce a more stable electron configuration.

To obtain a full outermost electron shell, sometimes referred to as the octet rule, atoms can either receive, lose, or share electrons. Atoms are able to form chemicalbonds, such as ionic bonds, covalent bonds, and metallic bonds, thanks to this interaction of electrons.

These bonds are crucial for the synthesis of molecules and compounds. The actions and configuration of electrons govern the chemistry and reactivity of elements.

Thus, the correct option is b.

Your question seems incomplete, the probable complete question is:

which part of the atom is responsible for chemical bonding?

a) Protons

b) Electrons

c) Neutrons

d) Nucleus

Answer 2
Answer: that would be the electron, because of the Octet Rule, electrons in an atom want to become stable by gaining, losing, or sharing electrons with other atoms until they have 8 valance electrons. Because of this, in a chemical bond atoms share electrons with eachother so noth can have 8 valance electrons and both can become stable.

How do animals obtain the nitrogen they use to make proteins and nucleic acids? A. by consuming plants or other animals

B. by absorbing ammonia from bacteria growing in the roots of plants

C. by breathing the nitrogen present in the atmosphere

D. by absorbing nitrogen found in the soil

Answers

The correct statement that explains how animals obtain the nitrogen they use to make proteins and nucleic acids is:

  • by consuming plants or other animals.

What is the nitrogen cycle?

It is the biological process of plants, animals, and microorganisms and abiotic light, soil characteristics, among others, is based on the supply of nitrogen in living beings.

Characteristics of the nitrogen cycle

  • Biological fixation is achieved through symbiotic bacteria found in plants, in addition to absorbing nitrogen produced from the soil.

  • Animals obtain the nitrogen they need by feeding on plants or animals that contain nitrogen, to produce amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids and DNA.

Therefore, we can conclude that Nitrogen enters the food chain through the nitrogen cycle when plants and vegetables remove it from the soil; then it passes to herbivorous and carnivorous animals.

I think it would be A. Because plants have bacteria on their roots that take the free nitrogen in the air from the soil and turn it into usable nitrogen. Animals could get usable nitrogen from eating plants since they have bacteria that make it. Then if an animal eats an animal that ate the plant, then it could get that nitrogen. But i am not completely sure though. I just learned this recently. I hope this helped :)
