Native Americans of the Southwest region of the United States used to make batteries. Here the correct option a.
The United States in 1786 established its first Native American reservation and approached each tribe as an independent nation and this remained intact for more than 100 years. But later during the Presidency of James Monroe, many native Americans were removed from the States of the Ohio River.
During the presidency of Andrew Jackson, the native Americans were forced to leave the United States and settle in the Indian Territory west of the Mississippi River. The Cherokee tribes challenged this legislation in U.S courts.
The Supreme Court in 1832 ruled in favour of the Cherokees but some tribes signed treaties giving the federal government the legal authority to assist them in their move to the Indian Territory.
The Cherokees were forcibly relocated, murdered, assaulted and imprisoned by thousands of federal soldiers in 1838.
