He relationship between literacy rates and the economy of a country

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Other peoples' reading abilities do have an impact on the country's economy. Here are some examples:

1. Health. People that can read seek more medical health in a proactive way rather then high cost emergency visits. They know more about contraceptive which makes a difference in their reproductive behavior. Illiteracy in low income families leads to  dependence on welfare, which is a burden on the state.

2. Prisons. 3 of 5 inmates in the United States can not read. The taxpayer has to pay for the upkeep of the prisoners, the maintenance of the prison facilities and the wages for the people working there.

3. Jobs. People with limited or non reading  abilities have problems finding well paying job. This reduces their mobility in the labor market and makes them more prone to depend on additional, state paid  help ( food stamps, welfare, charities) in order to care for their basic needs.

Answer:

D) to advise and give consent to treaties made by the president

Explanation:

A senate is a deliberative assembly, in many cases the upper house of a bicameral legislature or parliament. The members or legislators of a senate are called "senators". Modern senates generally have the function of evaluating and considering enacted legislation. However, senators also have the role of overseeing other political bodies, including the country's president. Senators have the power to confirm presidential appointments and to advise and consent to treaties made by the president.

The correct answer is D.

What are two ways the federal government can manage broadcast media?

Answers

one way is that they government sponsors/supports a certain broadcast media if they can broadcast what they want

another way is they can make little laws that make it harder for smaller broadcast medias to run (or medias that they don't want to run) and the bigger ones (or the ones that the gov likes) isn't affected as much

the airwaves available for radio and TV broadcasting are limited, the government decides who can use them.
