Answer:
when you time 1/7 with 10 to top and bottom you will get 10/70 and when you time 1/10 by 7 to top and bottom you will get 7/70. so the top number of 1/7 is greater than the top number of 1/10.

1) Convert the mixed numbers into improper fractions (ex. 2 1/3 ÷ 4 1/2= 7/3 ÷9/2) 2) Find the reciprocal of the SECOND number. Then change the division sign to a multiplication sign. (ex. 7/3 ÷ 9/2=7/3×2/9) 3)Multiply and you've got your answer! (ex. 7/3×2/9=14/27) Hope this helped!
Convert 2 1/2 into an improper fraction, that should be 5/2. Now converg 1 5/8 into an improper fraction and and its 13/8
Then set up the divsion problem and flip 13/8 into 8/13 and cross reduce to give you 5/1 times 13/4 qnd multiply qnd then tuen it back into a mixed number and the anwser is 1 17/13
How do you do the scale factor
Answers
If you have two similar geometric figures, the ratio of their corresponding sides is called the scale factor. To find the scale factor, locate two corresponding sides, one on each figure. Write the ratio of one length to the other to find the scale factor from one figure to the other

How do you solve x+2x=15 ; 5x=2y+3 using the substitution method? please explain
Answers
The subtitution method is where you fill in a number into the place of the variable, the check the problem to see if the number fits by solving it.. x+2x=15 I don't see why someone would use the substitution method on this one. x+2x can be 3x because of how multiplication works like addition. Then you'd have 3x=15. You can then find the value of x by dividing each side by 3 so that the variable is alone. You'll have x=5 5x=2y+3 If the equations are part of the same problem, then you'll have 25=2y+3. You could also solve this normaly, but I'll use the method you want this time. You could put a number like 6 in for y. Then solve. You'll have that 25=15. Meaning 6 is too small, so then you could use a number such as 12. Solve, and you'll get 25=27. The answer would be too large, but barely. You could move down one, to 11. you'll have 25=25, so eleven is correct. Sorry if I typed too much. If you wish to use the subtitution method, simply place a digit, that you think might fit, into the place where the variable is.
