The 442nd Infantry Regiment is considered the most decorated regiment in the history of the Army of the United States of America.

Answer 2
Answer:

Answer:

Japanese American Volunteers.

Explanation:

The entire regiment was composed of second-generation Japanese American soldiers. It was organized in 1943 but it was hard to convince the Roosevelt Administration to let them enter into combat. That was because there was a feeling across the United States citizenship that the Japanese descendants were enemies after the events of Pearl Harbor. They fought in the European theater of World War II.

Going to Churchill what aspect of the British military is not quite as strong as the Germans

Answers

To analyse in whole, Britain's WW2 military was far behind the Germans apart from a few key areas, radar, air force (RAF) and its German code breaker (Enigma). The Germans were far ahead in tank technology and with U-boat submarines. The Germans also had higher amounts of military personel at their disposal. Britain's success lay in the Battle of Britain where the combined use of radar and code breaking allowed the Royal Air Force (RAF) to beat the Luftwaffe, from then on the Luftwaffe were more or less depleted, contributing to German defeat.

Answers

The main way in which union strikes and boycotts helped advance the interests of workers in America in the late 19th century was by giving them the power to change the laws by creating pressure in a particular industry. By striking and leading boycotts, workers and consumers were able to demonstrate how powerful their voices could be, and how they deserved a place in the decision-making process. This encouraged negotiations to take place, and allowed workers to earn more rights than they enjoyed before.

How did Lincoln’s assassination alter Reconstruction plans for the South?
Please helppp

Answers

Answer:

On the evening of April 14, 1865, Lincoln was attending a performance of Our American Cousin at Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C. John Wilkes Booth – a 26-year old actor, Confederate sympathizer, and white supremacist – slipped into the Presidential Box and shot Lincoln in the head.. Booth may have decided to act on his hatred after Lincoln endorsed giving the right to vote to African-American men who had served in the Union Army.  The assassination of President Lincoln was just one part of a larger plot to decapitate the federal government of the U.S. after the Civil War.  Lincoln never lived to enact this policy. He died the following morning on April 15, 1865. His successor Andrew Johnson assumed office and presided over Reconstruction.  Johnson, a Congressman and former slaveholder from Tennessee – and the only Southern senator to remain loyal to the Union during the Civil War – favored lenient measures in readmitting Southern states to the Union during the Reconstruction era.  A proponent of states’ rights, Johnson granted amnesty to most former Confederates and allowed Southern states to elect new governments. As a result, new state governments formed across the South and enacted “black codes.”  These restrictive measures were designed to repress the recently freed slave population. Soon, many African Americans had little choice but to continue working on Southern plantations.
