Everyday monsters. What are they? I need to write about my everyday monsters but I doubt my teacher wants to hear about my questionable mental state nor that fat guy with the Aaron Rodgers mustache that yells at me whenever I wear leggings to school. Every time I google "Everyday Monsters" I get some weird looking stuff. I just need a little help on this, thanks!

Solve the equation X+16=9x explain

Answers

since your solving for x you have to get x on the same side by itself.
x+16=9x
begin by subtracting x from both sides which gives you: 16=9x-x or 16=8x
then divide by 8 from both sides so: 16/8=8/8x
which equals 2=x
plug 2 back into the original equation to be sure:
2+16=9(2)
18=18 so x=2
x=2
(2)+16=9(2)
(2 plus 16 is equal to 9 times 2)
18=18

Read the sentence below:My dog is a bulldozer pushing over flower pot structures and digging holes to nowhere.

This sentence uses which of the following to communicate an idea?

A. Allusion
B. Analogy
C. Metaphor
D. Simile

Answers

It's simile. It compares the dog to a bulldozer to make it more dramatic.

"The main difference between a simile and metaphor is that a simile uses the words "like" or "as" to draw a comparison and a metaphor simply states the comparison without using "like" or "as". An example of a simile is: She is as innocent as an angel. An example of a metaphor is: She is an angel."

I'm pretty sure it would be C, Metaphor instead Of simile but who knows I could be wrong ‍♀️

I NEED THIS NOW PLEASE HELP!!!In this discussion, you will post issues related to how we communicate our ideas about heroes and outlaws. Refer to the texts in this section, other texts you have read, and your personal experience and knowledge to support your ideas. Begin your discussion by addressing the following questions:
•What defines a “hero”? Is everyone’s definition the same? Why or why
not?
•Why are some individuals seen as heroes to some and outlaws to
others?
•Do heroes and outlaws create themselves, or do we create them
through the ideas we communicate about them?

Answers

This is pretty easy. It just takes some time, but it's pretty fun. I can't really do it, because it's all about YOU. With your experiences of heros, are they all the same? Like an example, an Army soldier. He's still a hero, but he does have a cape. Also, outlaws are created by us. We influence them to be better (or worse). So, just get personal with it and you'll be fine.

kevin can carry basket 5 feet Rachel can carry it 3 feet farther than kevin.daniel can carry the basket half as far as Rachel .is it reasonebel to say that they can carry it 15 feet with each person taking only one turn?

Answers

Kevin: 5
Rachel: 5 + 3 = 8
Daniel:  8 / 2 = 4

8 + 5 = 13.  13 + 4 = 17.

It is reasonable to say that Kevin, Rachel and Daniel can carry the basket 15 feet with each person taking only one turn.
