Answer 1
Answer: Margo bought that tree when it was 5cm,
If you are calculating how long she had had that tree than the answer is 24 days (2.5*(65-5))
However if you are calculating what is the age of that tree then it’s 26 days.
I am pretty sure this is right answer
Answer 2
Answer:

Do you want to know how many days it took to reach that point? If so the answer is 24 days that it got from 5cm to 65cm.

A jar contains 65 coins, all of which are nickels and dimes. The total value of the coins in the jar is $5.40. How many nickels / dimes are in the jar?

Answers

Answer:

43 dimes, 22 nickels

Step-by-step explanation:

n + d = 65....this is just dealing with the total number of coins

0.05n + 0.10d = 5.40....this is dealing with the actual $ amount...nickels are worth 0.05 and dimes are worth 0.10

n + d = 65....n = 65 - d

now we sub that back into our other equation

0.05(65 - d) + 0.10d = 5.40

3.25 - 0.05d + 0.10d = 5.40

-0.05d + 0.10d = 5.40 - 3.25

0.05d = 2.15

d = 2.15 / 0.05

d = 43 <==== 43 dimes

n + d = 65

n + 43 = 65

n = 65 - 43

n = 22 <=== 22 nickels

I think it's

3.14*9*9*14=3,560.76

3,560.76/3=1,186.92 (3,052.1)

3.14*9*9*4=9,156.24

9,156.24 /3=3,052.08(3,052.1)

3,052.1+3,052.1=6104.2

Would you measure the length of a bench in centimeters or in meters

Answers

well... it depends... some benches are big, some are small. but what my teacher told me to use is meters! so meters would be better because if the bench was too small, it would be a chair! LOL
Meters
there is different size of bench, usually is about 1.5 meter.

Please someone can check out if my answers are correct. Thanks

Your math is correct, but the camera can't take 2/3 of an image.
That's why the question asked "How many complete images ...".
After 66 images, there is still some time remaining, but not enough
for another image.  So it captures 66 complete images in 3 seconds.

find three consecutive integers such that the sum of the first and twice the second is equal to the third plus four

Answers

Answer:

The three consecutive integers are 2,3,4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the three consecutive integers be represented as x,x+1,x+2

As per the given condition, the sum of the first and twice the second integer is equal to the third integer plus 4.

Representing it in the form of an equation:

x + 2*(x+1) = (x+2) + 4

=> x + 2x + 2 = x+6

=> 3x + 2 = x + 6

=> (3x -x) = 6 - 2

=> 2x = 4

=> x = 4/2 = 2

So the three integers are 2,3,4

Verification: 2 + 2*3 = 8

                    4 + 4 = 8

So the requirement is satisfied by these integers.
