Answer: The French and Indian war took place from 1754 to 1763. The French and the Native Americans joined forces to defeat the British in a battle for land. The war was New France and most of the Native Americans up against British colonists. Some of the Native Americans fought with the British but with their allies, the French, most of the Native Americans teamed up with France. The result was a British victory. But, with all of the money lost, King George passed tax laws to the colonies to pay off their debt. Thus began the Intolerable Acts!
