What are the pros and cons of using propaganda in an essay

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: I guess you could say a pro is that gullible people will believe you, but that's an unethical pro. The cons are that it usually causes much controversy in a society where there's not supposed to be a bias in the government. Propaganda in its true form is never a good thing. It is unethical in the sense that it takes advantage of people who are too lazy to do research and quick to believe what someone tells them. One example I like to use is many of these independent "news" websites. On both ends of the political spectrum, left and right, you find websites that have articles so heavily weighed down with that wings propaganda that true news becomes less and less visible. Occupy Democrats is one textbook example of that.

What is the effect of the repetition in Anne’s statement that "All we can do is wait…Jews and Christians alike are waiting, the whole world is waiting, and many are waiting for death?" Make sure to use A.C.E Book: The Diary of a Young Girl

Answer:

The effect of the repetition in Anne's statement that "All we can do is wait... Jews and Christians alike are waiting, the whole world is waiting, and many are waiting for death" is that the whole world is at war with each other. The war isn't just going on between the two countries. Instead, there are countries that have allied, and they try to stop someone who is abusing their power. Every country is affected by this war.

This was my answer: Please don't use it.

2. Analyze: The effect of the repetition in Anne’s statement “All we can do is what … Jews and Christians alike are waiting, the whole world is waiting, and many are waiting for death” is that she is trying to say that the whole world is having an impact. Everyone is worried about this war because it is a world war, so it is affecting everyone. Jews and Christians are also waiting because the Nazis are not just killing Jews, they are killing Christians. The Nazis are not targeting to one specific race or religion. “The Christians in Holland are also living in fear because their sons are being sent to Germany” (page 356, lines 21 to 22). Furthermore, “Every hour hundreds, or maybe even thousands, of people are being killed in Russia and Africa. No one can keep out of the conflict, the entire world is at war, even the Allies” (page 356, lines 24 to 26). These two pieces of evidence indicate that the Nazis aren’t just involved with killing Jews but also Christians and also it shows that everyone is worried and are being killed because the entire world is at war.

2. I like spring because

Answers

Answer:

My spring break

I have many plans for spring break. First I will go to the beach with my family. We will spend a whole weekend where we will play in the water and eat really good food. Then when we come back I will visit my aunts and cousins and we will spend time together at the mall. Then I will work on my school stuff like my math and history homework and will get ready for the 4th quarter of school. I am very excited for all the fun I am going to have over spring break.

Explanation:

This is why I like spring.

I like spring because it is one of my favorite times of the year. I love how after a long, harsh winter, everything seems to grow back. Flowers bloom, trees grow, and leaves become bright green. I also enjoy spring because of the warm weather, and I get to enjoy the warmth of outdoors. Also, because of spring, I get to celebrate my cousin’s birthday.

HELP PLZZZ ASAPPP!!!!!!!!!! BRAINLIEST!!!!!!!!GIVE ME LIBERTY The Struggle for Self-Government in Virginia Thomas J. Wertenbaker Chapter I: The Cornerstone of Liberty Three little vessels—the Susan Constant, the Godspeed, and the Discovery—left England in December, 1606, under the command of Captain Christopher Newport, to found a colony on the distant shores of Virginia. Two decades earlier Sir Walter Raleigh had sent out a group of settlers to what is now North Carolina, and they had disappeared mysteriously. What had happened to them? men asked. Had they been killed by the Indians? Had they fallen victims to disease? Had they starved? Those who shared in this new venture must have wondered if a like fate awaited them in this strange new land. But their spirits rose when they entered Chesapeake Bay. Landing parties were delighted with the "fair meddowes ... full of flowers of divers kinds and colors," the "goodly tall trees," and the streams of fresh water. It was a smiling country which seemed to bid them welcome. But when they entered the mouth of a broad river, which they called the James in honor of their King, and made their way up into the country, new doubts must have assailed them. They knew that savages lived in the dense forests which lined both banks; might not strange wild beasts live there also? Might there not be fatal diseases unknown in Europe? What is the main point of the "Give Me Liberty" excerpt? A- A new colony would overcome the earlier hardships.B- Once settled, the colonists would be optimistic. C- Settlers were hopeful but had many fears.D- Three vessels bravely went where others had failed.
