Which of the following is a true statement?A. All squares are rectangles
B. All rectangles are squares
C. All rhombuses are squares

Answers

A rectangle is a parallelogram with interior right angles.
That description applies very satisfactorily to squares.
A square is a special kind of rectangle, so all squares are rectangles.

(All squares are rhombuses, parallelograms, and quadrilaterals too.)

Answer:  Option 'A' is correct and true.

Step-by-step explanation:

Square is the quadrilateral whose all sides are equal and all angles are right angles and

Rectangle is the quadrilateral whose opposite sides are equal and all angles are right angles.

so, All squares are rectangle as it satisfied the angle property of rectangle and opposite sides of square is also equal.

But all rectangles can't be a square as in rectangle all sides are not equal.

And all rhombus can't be squares as in square all angles are of right angles but rhombus does not possess such property at all.

Hence, Option 'A' is correct and true.

An experiment is designed to determine the launch angle that will give a projectile the greatest range (make it go the longest distance). The "launcher" is a slingshot type of apparatus that is spring-loaded and released by a trigger. For each trial, the same painted rock is retrieved and launched. Measurements are taken linearly from the launch site to the landing site. The trials were done on a windless day.Which of the following would be a good hypothesis for this experiment?

If the angle of the launcher is increased, the rock will go further.

Changing the angle of the launcher will vary the distance that the rock can be projected.

Answers

If the angle of the launcher is increased, the rock will go further........

test each

if angle is increased, rock will go further
if the angle starts at 0, then increases to 90 degrees (straight up) the rock will go up then bounce off of the launcher going either front or back, but vastly shorter than if it were pointed straight ahead

2nd one
changing angle change the distance
we see that is true

How do you solve...0=-5t^2+20t+1

Answers

there were 2 solutions that i came up with. Here is the first one. I rearranged the  eqaution by subtracting what is to the right of thr equal sign. Multiply the coefficeint of the first term by the constant 5 x (-1)= -5. Then you would find 2 factors of -5 whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term which is 20. -5+1= -4 and  -1+5=4.  the eqaution then comes to 5t^2-20t-1=0. you would solve  5t^2-20t-1=0. you would divide both sides of the equal sign by 5. t^-4t-1/5=0. then t^2-4t=1/5. add 4 to both sides of the equation.  so we get 21/5+ 4 + 4t -t^2=21/5. it then comes out to be t^2-4t+t=t-2^2. according to the law of transitivity it is t-2^2=21/5.

 t =(20+√420)/10=2+1/5√ 105 = 4.049

A $30 pair of jeans is on sale for $15. What is the percent of change for the pair of
jeans?

Answers

Answer:

50%

Step-by-step explanation:

All we need to do is find out what percent 15 is compared to 30. So think of 30 as "100%" in this case. We know it's on sale and selling for $15 so all we need to do is figure out what $15 is compared to $30.

30 ÷ 15 = 15.

Luckily in this case 15 is half of 30. So half of "100" would be 50. 50%.

50% is your answer.

Hope this helps and have a nice day!

there are only 7 days left until the launch of our new product and we only have 668.00 left in our promotion budget .we need to spend 85.00 on the last day .can you please calculate how many dollars a day we can spend on the remaining days?

Answers

In total, you have $668.00.
To reserve enough for the last day, you need to subtract the last day's budget:
668.00-85.00=583.00
This means that, for the remaining 6 days in the week, you have $583.00
Assuming an equal amount is being spent each day, you can calculate the daily budget by dividing the remaining total by the number of days left
(583)/(6) =97.16
To avoid going over budget, you can spend $97.16 per day for the other six days.

Hope this helps!
668-85=583
583/6=97.1666
He can spend 97.16 on the remaining days.
